Conference Season is Upon Us. Will we See YOU?
Ahhh…there’s a cool breeze in the air…and since all of us calendar year filers have been able finish our federal and state income tax filings, perhaps we will have a bit of time to breath, get out and enjoy what is left of some decent weather before the dead of winter (and year end) descends upon us. For some of you, you might be getting ready to attend your fall tax vendor and industry conferences, and trying to log as many CPE credits as possible before year end. I know we are.
See the recent post from my colleague Traci Wheeler to see the first one we will be attending. She shares some of the interesting new ways we will be communicating to you while out on the road…
Here are just some of the ones I know are coming up around the country through year end:
October 24-26 – Bellagio, Las Vegas
October 26 – 27 – Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois
October 30 – November 2nd – San Francisco, CA
November 1-4th – Fontainebleau Resort, Miami Beach, Florida
November 2-5th – San Diego, CA
November 6-9, 2011 – JW Marriott® San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas
Nov 07 – Nov 08, 2011 -Marriott Wardman Park – Washington, DC
November 7 – 10th – San Antonio, Texas
November 6 – 9th – Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel, Monterey, California
November 17-19, 2011 – JW Marriott Hotel -New Orleans, Lousiana
November 14-15th – Minneapolis Convention Center
These are just a few of the many conferences coming up. Please share the one(s) you are attending. We hope to see you out there on the road. And don’t forget…make sure that your trip is not all business. Take some time for pleasure. See an older post of mine on this very topic. Life is short. Make sure that while you tally up CPE credits and learn the latest and greatest tax updates and technology solutions, that you also take some time to enjoy Vegas, California, San Antonio and the other gorgeous spots for our tax conferences this year! Traci, Susan and I sure will. And we will be sharing some of our learning as well as some of the fun we will be having…well, maybe not everything!
